Our ohana is a tropical retreat nestled among palm trees and flowering plumerias.   Begin each day with the sweet fragrance of flowers, songs of the birds and the sound of the ocean.   Our ohana is a short walk to Magic Sands beach at La'a Loa Beach Park, where you can boogie board, swim, watch the sunset, or have a picnic on the beach.   It is one mile from the best snorkeling on the Kona Coast at Kahalu'u Beach Park, a shallow reef teeming with fish and honus (green sea turtles).   Five minutes away is the Keauhou Shopping Center, offering a KTA supermarket, Kona Natural Foods, Long's Drug Store, post office, several restaurants and a six-plex movie house.   Down the road is the Kona Country Club with two beautiful 18-hole championship golf courses.   You will be a scenic 10 minute drive from the heart of the resort town, Kailua Village.

 
     
 
The onsite accommodation at La'a Loa Wellness Center is a large tropical and beautiful one bedroom vacation retreat in the lower level of our home, with warm tropical breezes.   It offers a fully equipped kitchen and bath with all new appliances.   There is a tropical dining area looking out onto the gardens, if you choose to eat at "home".   The ohana has sleeping areas that can accommodate up to four people. There is a king size bed in the private bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.   Ceiling fans re in every room, along with cordless telephones, cable TV, a DVD and a CD player, Hawaiian music, and a variety of movies. We also offer complimentary wireless internet access
 
     

There is an outdoor seating area that provides for fun and relaxation under the palms and flowering trees where you can sip your morning beverages, have sunset drinks, and dine outside in the evening.   The ohana at La'a Loa Wellness Center is
